Are social networking sites harmful?

Of course, as in any other problem, there are pros and cons arguments. So I am going to take a look at the proofs and I’ll let you make an opinion on your own.
First the pros arguments. Facebook and many other social networking sites are good ways to socialize and make new friends, but they are also known for sharing photos, songs or web pages that you like to your friends. I’m sure that you saw that “like” sign on web pages. Facebook is also a great way for institutions to interact with ordinary people or for stars to keep their fans in touch with what they do (just an example). So as a general idea: social networking sites are good ways to get yourself popular quick.
But there are people that were disappointed by social networking sites. And they had a good reason to do it. I’m going to explain that to you with an example (it is probably that you know it – saw it on TV). An ordinary woman created an account on Facebook. She posted there photos of her house and photos with the interior of her house. She was shocked when discovered that she was robbed by some thieves while she was on a trip with her boyfriend. So the conclusion is that your personal information can be revealed without permission. Such server errors happen regularly and she was not the only unlucky person. So watch out and don’t put any personal details on your Facebook account.

To my classmates

Teacher sayd we must have at least half the class "friends" to our blog. I don't know If we get a mark on this, but you can't say I don't have a nice blog.

Just a homework

                                                                 1st Oct., Saturday 

Dear Journal,

    

     Today was a great day. Wonder why? Because I didn't go to school. I woke up only at 9:30 AM. Then I ate some bacon and eggs. I spoke with Gabi (Rădan) at telephone and we arranged to go outside, in a park to practice our ping-pong skill. We reached the park at 11:00 o'clock and we started playing. We had a great fun together in the open air. We both played really good. At noon we went home. Sadly,the rest of the day was boring and full of homework, so I suppose you don't want to find out more. That's all for today.

P.S. Some of the things I wrote were just my imagination.
